Saccadic Intrusion and Oscillation
Choi Jae-Hwan

Abstract
Saccadic intrusions and oscillations are defined as inappropriate saccades that take the eyes off their target. They comprise an initial saccade that displaces the eyes from their fixation or resting point followed by a second, refixating or returning eye movement. The second eye movement may be a saccade or a slow eye movement, and occur with or without an interval between it and first saccade. In this article, we will review the type, pathogenesis and treatment of saccadic intrusions and oscillations.
